The RCREC is pleased to announce we are hosting the first GOP debate for the Governor of West Virginia featuring the 4 top gubernatorial candidates. The Resort at Glade Springs, WOAY-TV and the RCREC are underwriting this debate which will be moderated by the voice of WV, MetroNews radio host, Hoppy Kercheval.
The evening will begin with a straightforward debate structure in the beautiful Bright Ballroom at Glade Springs Resort. Doors open at 5:00pm and the debate will commence at approximately 5:30pm once our moderator, Hoppy Kercheval, calls for order and will last approximately 90 minutes. The debate will be recorded by WOAY-TV and will be broadcast the following evening from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
Following the debate, doors will open onto the Glade Springs Rotunda for the post-debate buffet dinner which is included with the price of general admission. A cash bar will also be available.
